Parade starts at Norr Mälarstrand, 13:00

Calling all postdocs to join Karolinska Institute and the Academic Pride in the Stockholm Pride Parade 2023. Stockholm Pride celebrates 25 years with the theme ”Celebrate diversity” for this year’s festival. It is a theme that aims to pay tribute to all of you who contribute to increased diversity in society in terms of identities, sexual orientation, religions, cultures, heritages and much more. The rainbow flag will fly at KI Campuses throughout Pride week from 31 July to 5 August.

We will take part in the Pride Parade on Saturday, 5 August. Before the parade, you can join the pre-party together with other universities in Stockholm. We will gather in the Atrium at the Stockholm School of Economics at 10:30 - 12:00. Register for the pre-parade event by 29 July.

You are most welcome to join the parade without attending the pre-party. The Pride Parade starts at Norr Mälarstrand at 13:00. Look for the Academic Pride truck on Norr Mälarstrand or jump into the parade along the 4.5 km walk as it passes by Stadshuset – Hantverkargatan – Stadshusbron – Tegelbacken – Rödbodtorget – Vasagatan – Kungsgatan – Sturegatan and ends at Östermalms IP (Pride Park).
